What to send for a first estimate
A short description is enough to start. Describe any mixed materials, brazed components or visible contamination.
- Type: carbide inserts (VBD), cemented carbide, carbide tools or grinding residues.
- Approximate weight and form: pieces, a mixture or fine material.
- Information about contaminants and how the material is stored.
- City or region, so collection options can be discussed.
Collection and handover across Czechia
We discuss carbide purchases across the Czech Republic, including Ostrava, Brno, Prague, Plzeň, Olomouc and Zlín. Whether collection or personal handover suits the batch depends on its quantity and location. We confirm the timing and terms in advance.
Packing carbide safely
Carbide pieces can be heavy and sharp. Use strong crates or containers that keep them in place during handling. Place small parts in closed bags or containers within a crate. Keep fine carbide grinding residues separate from larger pieces in sealed packaging.
Sorting before handover
Separate clean carbide inserts, solid carbide tools, other cemented carbide and grinding residues. Note an approximate weight for each group. If you are unsure what the material is, describe their appearance rather than taking unfamiliar tools apart.
Agreeing the offer and payment
After the first assessment, we clarify the material, quantity, price and handover. At receipt, we verify the actual material and weight. We agree the payment method and timing in advance. A regular supply schedule can also be arranged.
